The ServicePilot ISM is a single tool that provides a unified view of all the real and virtual/cloud infrastructure components used to deliver services. It is an ideal solution for the management of multi-vendor and heterogeneous environments,. It provides end-to-end availability and performance management for servers, networks, applications ,VoIP and UC.

ServicePilot has developed packages for most available technologies. If additional support is required, a user can create their own custom technology package for advanced integration of any script results. With only a few mouse clicks, ServicePilot ISM is configured for the supervision of different technologies, and the results of scripts are integrated via a customizable API that enables ISM to collect any script results.

ISM Technologies Supported Out-of-the-Box
Virtualization: Enables administrators to monitor and fully optimize their VMware (ESX) and Microsoft (Hyper V) virtualized environments
VLAN monitoring: Collects statistics of logical VLAN interfaces available in the router, such as interface load, error rate on interfaces, drop rate on interfaces, availability rate, data sent in bytes by interface, and packet number in queue by interface.
VoIP: Monitors all VoIP communications and measures the performance of all the elements which constitute the IP Telephony infrastructure (Cisco CM, Alcatel OXE, Aastra and Avaya)
Network response time monitoring (ICMP): Integrates an ICMP agent for real-time measurement of IP device availability and response time, as well as a Generic Ping Response Time package for doing a Ping on a remote device.
Router / Switch monitoring: Scans each active network device, at regular intervals, and collects (through SNMP) all key indicators, such as memory usage, CPU load, buffer usage, interface state, Interface load, error rate on interfaces, drop rate on interfaces, availability rate, data sent (in bytes) by interface, and packet number in queue by interface.
CB QoS: ISM incorporates CBQoS through a standard package that monitors Cisco Class Base QoS efficiency on a CISCO router. This package collects details through SNMP on transit volume (packets, bytes) by class of service (ClassMap, Policy Statistics, and Queuing statistics from the CBQoS MIB implemented on the gateway). The data is presented in a variety of intuitive reports that range from a global view of statistics by router to a detailed view of service class on a specific interface.
Server monitoring: Support for iSeries AS400, Linux, Windows, and UNIX servers, through its collection packages, such as SNMP or WMI for Windows, and its customizable API for easy and fast integration of monitoring script results.
Database monitoring: Real-time and comprehensive health check monitoring and performance metrics for Oracle, SQL Sever, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and more through its SQL collector and its collection packages.
IP SLA: IP SLA (IP Service Level Agreement) is supported on almost all Cisco IOS devices. ServicePilot ISM provides standard packages to monitor end-to-end availability, MOS, latency, round trip response time, jitter, and lost packets between any two IP SLA-enabled points across a network.
WiFi environment supervision: ServicePilot ISM incorporates standard packages for Alcatel-Lucent WiFi switch and Cisco WiFi router monitoring. These packages, relying on SNMP protocol, collect key system (CPU and memory) and network indicators (network connectivity, SSID statistics, statistics on active devices such as bridges, repeaters, clients, etc.).
Firewall monitoring: Standard packages for Cisco firewall (ASA and PIX), Checkpoint firewall and Nokia firewall monitoring. These packages, rely on SNMP to, collect the basic KPI needed to monitor a firewall, such as CPU and memory statistics (IO, processor, PCI, etc.), interface statistics, buffer statistics, IPSec statistics, and SSL statistics.
MPLS Monitoring: Incorporates a standard MPLS LSR Int package for monitoring any MPLS equipment by collecting key indicators (InPackets, InDiscards, Int.FailedLabelLookup, OutPackets, OutDiscards, OutFragments).
