Avaibility Management
ServicePilot ISM Express combines event analysis, correlation and SNMP
polling for real-time and relevant information. ServicePilot ISM Express provides multiple interfaces to detect, localize, understand and solve incidents as
quickly as possible:
- Maps: device allocation in geographical views (degradation localization), technical views (degraded infrastructure resource analysis) and business views or portals (impact on good running applications)
- Real-time matrices: technical degradation impact on one or several sites, the level of service delivery degradation on sites and the list of degraded objects
- Correlated event logs and notification engine: alerts and enables operators to track relevant incident information
Performance Management
- ServicePilot ISM Express enables performance indicator analysis to improve proactivity and anticipate degradations
- Advanced capacity planning features: understanding and anticipating of resource saturations (historical analysis, trend projections)
- Availability and performance exception tables per site: easy identification of degradations relevant to a site based on various time periods (year, month, day, etc.)
- Top 20 critical indicators: comparative analysis of indicators
Service Level Management
ServicePilot ISM Express enables operators to easily define and configure simple or complex SLAs, along with their thresholds and targets, according to different
types or classes of service. SLA compliance calculation results are immediately available for easy trend analysis and reporting.
ServicePilot ISM provides two types of dashboards:
- Trend tables (SLA Summary): trends are clearly visible through a coloured arrow
- Distribution tables (SLA Details): SLA tables display the quality of service problems over
a period of time
Reporting
ServicePilot ISM Express enables the automatic publishing of reports through standard Internet browsers. Standard reports on performance or incidents are available, according to operational needs.
Collectors
ServicePilot ISM Express is a complete solution for the management of multi-vendor Network environments and end-to-end performance response time.
ServicePilot ISM Express integrates the following collection capabilities:
Ping
ServicePilot ISM Express integrates an ICMP poller for real-time measurement of IP device availability and response time, as well as a Generic Ping Response Time package for doing a Ping on a remote device.
Interface Discovery and Monitoring
ServicePilot ISM Express incorporates standard packages for interface monitoring and discovery.
- Generic Interface package for monitoring an interface in terms of load, traffic, discards, errors and speed, in 32 or 64 bits.
- Generic Interface Discovery package for monitoring an interface in terms of load, traffic, discards, errors and speed in 32 or 64 bits. This package uses an interface discovery module that creates discovered interfaces on the device.
Host Monitoring
ServicePilot ISM Express incorporates standard packages for Basic System monitoring.
IP-SLA
Cisco IP SLA (IP Service Level Agreement): Packet loss, transit delay and jitter.
ServicePilot ISM Express monitors end-to-end availability, round trip response time, jitter, and lost packets between any two IP SLA-enabled points across a network. ServicePilot ISM Express incorporates standard packages. IP SLA is supported on almost all Cisco IOS devices.
