What is a F5 BIG-IP?
F5 BIG-IP is an Application Delivery Controller (ADC) developed by F5 Networks. This technology's core function is to manage network traffic and distribute it across multiple servers in an effort to optimize resource use and improve application performance. F5 BIG-IP serves as a load balancer, but also incorporates a range of services including application security, acceleration, and SSL offloading.
