What is a VoIP FTP Server?

The VoIP FTP Server package configures the ServicePilot Agent with FTP Server configuration parameters used by a number of VoIP packages. This allows ServicePilot to collect and analyze data from these packages, providing detailed insights into the performance of the VoIP system.

The VoIP FTP Server is a critical component of many VoIP systems, providing a means for these systems to transfer files and data. This can include configuration files, firmware updates, call records and other important data.

How to monitor call records via VoIP FTP Server?

ServicePilot makes it easy to monitor call records via VoIP FTP Server with no configuration required on the target server. Simply add a resource from the ServicePilot voip-ftp-server package to your monitoring environment.

Up to 10 user accounts can be specified, each with a home directory. These home directories are expected to be subdirectories of the FTP server root directory.

One user can be used by multiple devices to send call records to ServicePilot, although each device needs to store details in a separate directory.

How to install a ftp-server resource?

  1. Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
  2. Add a new ftp-server resource via the web interface (/prmviews or /prmresources) or via API (/prmpackages page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.

Details of the ftp-server package are located in the /prmpackages page of the software.
