What is a date comparison?
This misc-compare-date package provides an indication of how many minutes have elapsed since a date sent to the ServicePilot data capture API.
With this object it is possible to generate alerts if the number of minutes since the time sent to ServicePilot is too large. This might be useful to alert if an action has not happened recently or to track the delay between some event occurring and the current time.
Adding ServicePilot threshold policies and alert policies will to the misc-compare-date resource will be required to be complete the configuration.
Date comparison monitoring
This package is designed to present a delta in minutes between the date sent to the ServicePilot data capture API and the current time. By default, if the delta between the date received and the current time is greater than 60 minutes then the object will change to a critical state.
The ServicePilot send data REST API can be used to send data to a resource once it has been provisioned in ServicePilot.
How to install a compare-date resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new compare-date resource via the web interface (
/prmviews
or/prmresources
) or via API (/prmpackages

page of the software.
