What is APC ATS?

An automatic transfer switch, often simply called ATS, is an electrical device that can change power input to a redundant source if the initial source should fail. ATS APC is the ATS product line manufactured and commercialized by Schneider Electric.

How to monitor APC ATS?

ServicePilot makes it very easy to monitor APC ATS devices. Simply configure the SNMP interface of the APC ATS device. Then use the ServicePilot web interface to add a misc-ats-apc resource.

The monitoring statistics gathered include:

  • Selected Source
  • Source Status
  • Source Change

How to install a ats-apc resource?

  1. Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
  2. Add a new ats-apc resource via the web interface (/prmviews or /prmresources) or via API (/prmpackages page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.

Details of the ats-apc package are located in the /prmpackages page of the software.
