What is a ServicePilot Data Receiver?
The ServicePilot data receiver package defines a simple generic object that can receive data from API calls.
This package is useful when you want to graph and alert periodic data from a script using ServicePilot API calls.
How to monitor with a ServicePilot Data Receiver?
In your program/script call the ServicePilot APIs to send indicator data toà a uniquly named ServicePilot object.
The statistics accepted by this package are:
- A text string status indicator (OK, WARNING or ERROR)
- A numerical value
- A string
How to install a data-receiver resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new data-receiver resource via the web interface (
/prmviews
or/prmresources
) or via API (/prmpackages
page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
