What is HWg-STE Sensor?
HWg-STE is a device with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) support created for measuring temperature and humidity from external sensors.
It has a built-in web server for remote monitoring and web configuration.
How to monitor HWg-STE Sensor?
ServicePilot makes it very easy to monitor HWg-STE Sendor. Simply configure the SNMP interface of the HWg-STE Sendor. Then use the ServicePilot web interface to add a resource from the ServicePilot misc-hwg-ste package.
The monitoring statistics gathered in this way include:
- Temperature Sensor (Temperature and State)
- Percentage Sensor (Value and State)
How to install a hwg-ste resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new hwg-ste resource via the web interface (
/prmviews
or/prmresources
) or via API (/prmpackages
page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
