What is APC UPS?
An Uninterruptible Power Supply / Source, often simply called UPS, is an electrical device that allows emergency power to a load when the input power source or main electrical power fails.
UPS APC is the UPS product line manufactured by Schneider Electric.
APC UPS monitoring
This package is built to monitor APC UPS using SNMP.
This package automatically configures the ServicePilot Agent to collect statistics from the APC UPS on which SNMP has been configured.
The monitoring statistics gathered include:
- Battery level
- Input status
- Errors
How to install a ups-apc resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new ups-apc resource via the web interface (
/prmviewsor/prmresources) or via API (/prmpackagespage), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
