What is Zabbix Windows Server?
Microsoft Windows Zabbix uses a Zabbix agent which is an open source monitoring software created in 1998, developed by Zabbix LLC in C, PHP as well as Java programming languages and published under the GNU Public License version 2.
A Zabbix Agent installed for monitoring a Microsoft Windows Server can be used to send monitoring data to ServicePilot.
Zabbix Windows Server monitoring
This package is designed to monitor a Microsoft Windows Server using the Zabbix Agent.
This package automatically configures the ServicePilot Agent to collect statistics from the Microsoft Windows Server on which the Zabbix Agent has been installed and configured using the ServicePilot Agent. The statistics gathered in this way include:
- System: CPU and Memory utilization
- Storage: disk utilization
- Network: interface status and utilization
- Applicative: process status and resource consumption
How to install a microsoft-windows-zabbix resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new microsoft-windows-zabbix resource via the web interface (
/prmviews
or/prmresources
) or via API (/prmpackages
page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
