What is a Windows Server Service?
In Microsoft Windows server environments (Windows NT OS type), a service is a program running in background. It is often compared to Unix daemons. Windows services tend to be self-tuning, but it can be also be configured as well as managed manually through the Windows Control Panel Service.

This package is designed to monitor services using SNMP.
This package automatically configures the ServicePilot Manager to collect statistics from selected services from the server on which the SNMP service has been installed and configured.
It supports all Microsoft Windows versions that provide the LanMgr-Mib-II-MIB.
