What is an Azure File?
Azure File offers fully managed file shares in the cloud that can be accessed using the standard SMB protocol. It provides a scalable and reliable file storage solution for both Windows and Linux virtual machines, as well as on-premises environments.
Azure Files support features like snapshots, encryption, access control, and integration with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), enabling secure file sharing and collaboration across applications and platforms.
Azure Files monitoring
This package automatically configures the ServicePilot Agent in order to monitor availability and performance of Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine resources and services with the Microsoft API.
The ServicePilot storage-azure-account package collect the following metrics:
- Disk IO
- Network usage
How to install a azure-file resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new azure-file resource via the web interface (
/prmviews
or/prmresources
) or via API (/prmpackages
page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
