What is Dell EMC Unity?

Dell EMC Unity is one of the next-generation midrange unified storage array product lines from Dell EMC. It was designed after the EMC VNX and VNXe series, which evolved out of the EMC Clariion SAN disk array.

This package is designed to monitor an Dell EMC Unity using RestAPI.

This package automatically configures the ServicePilot Agent to collect statistics from the Dell EMC Unity on which the RestAPI service has been installed and configured. The statistics gathered in this way include:

• Statuses of system, fan, power supply and disks
• Pool storage usage

How to install a dell-emc-unity resource?

1. Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
2. Add a new dell-emc-unity resource via the web interface (/prmviews or /prmresources) or via API (/prmpackages page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
