What is Log Parser Template?

ServicePilot Log Parser transforms logs from multiple sources into structured objects. Input logs can be Syslogs or Windows Events for which recurring log templates are dynamically detected and variables masked.

How to monitor with Log Parser Template?

ServicePilot will automatically analyze and parse logs from multiple sources (syslog, windows events ..) and produce structured statistics.

These statistics can be displayed as maps and can be analyzed in order to detect anomalies.

How to install a parser-template resource?

1. Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
2. Add a new parser-template resource via the web interface (/prmviews or /prmresources) or via API (/prmpackages page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.

Details of the parser-template package are located in the /prmpackages page of the software.
