What is Log Parser?
ServicePilot Log Parser transforms logs from multiple sources into structured objects. Input logs can be Syslogs or Windows Events. ServicePilot dynamically detects recurring log templates and masks variables.
How to monitor with Log Parser?
ServicePilot will automatically analyze and parse logs from multiple sources (syslogs and windows events) and produce structured statistics.
These statistics can be displayed as maps and can be analyzed in order to detect anomalies.
How to install a parser resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new parser resource via the web interface (
/prmviews
or/prmresources
) or via API (/prmpackages
page), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
Details of the parser package are located in the
/prmpackages
page of the software.
