What is a HPE Insight?
HP Enterprise Insight Control, often referred to as HPE Insight, is a server management software developed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It is designed to streamline the provisioning, control, management, and optimization of HPE ProLiant servers.

How to monitor a HPE Insight?
ServicePilot makes it very easy to monitor a HP Insight Server. Simply configure the SNMP interface of the target HP Insight Server. Then use the ServicePilot web interface to add a resource from the ServicePilot server-hp-insight package.
The statistics gathered in this way include:
- System: CPU and Memory utilization
- Storage: Logical Disk utilization
- Network: Interface status and utilization
- Applicative: Process and Service status and resource consumption
How to install a hp-insight resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new hp-insight resource via the web interface (
/prmviewsor/prmresources) or via API (/prmpackagespage), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.

/prmpackagespage of the software.
