What is HP-UX Server?

HP-UX is a proprietary Unix OS (Operating System) developed in 1984 by Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

HP-UX is based on System V and is mainly used on HP 9000, Integrity servers as well as workstations.

HP-UX Server monitoring

This package is designed to monitor an HP-UX Server using SNMP.

This package automatically configures the ServicePilot Manager to collect statistics from the HP-UX Server based on an SNMP collection. It is designed to monitor and troubleshoot HP-UX devices from one place. The statistics gathered in this way include:

  • System: CPU and Memory utilization
  • Storage: File Systems utilization
  • Network: Interface status and utilization
  • Applicative: Process status and resource consumption
