What is an Efficient IP SOLIDserver DDI?
The Efficient IP suite provides a unified solution for DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services, known collectively as DDI. It includes both virtual and hardware appliances designed to deliver robust, secure, and highly scalable DDI services. This integrated approach aims to enhance network reliability and performance by automating key tasks and reducing the risk of errors in IP address management and DNS-DHCP configurations. It is a scalable solution with several security measures to provide added protection against DDI-related threats.
How to monitor an Efficient IP suite?
ServicePilot makes it very easy to monitor an Efficient IP suite. Simply configure the SNMP interface of the Efficient IP device. Then use the ServicePilot web interface to add a resource from the ServicePilot network-efficient-ip package.
The statistics gathered in this way include:
CPU and Memoryutilization
Logical Diskutilization (Optional)
Interfacestatus and utilization (Optional)
- Service: Status and utilization (Optional)
How to install a efficient-ip resource?
- Use your ServicePilot OnPremise installation or a SaaS account.
- Add a new efficient-ip resource via the web interface (
/prmresources) or via API (
/prmpackagespage), the default ServicePilot agent or another agent will be provisioned automatically.
Details of the efficient-ip package are located in the
/prmpackagespage of the software.
ServicePilot enables you to deliver IT services faster and more securely with automated discovery and advanced monitoring features.
By correlating the technology EFFICIENT IP with APM and infrastructure monitoring, ServicePilot is able to provide a more comprehensive view of an organization's IT environment.
This allows IT teams to quickly identify and diagnose issues that may be impacting application performance, and take corrective action before end-users are affected.
