What is Sonus SBC 1000?

SBC 1000 platform is a voice over IP (VoIP) session border controller solution provided by Ribbon Communications (previously Sonus). It delivers security, high availability and interoperability in heterogeneous VoIP environments. The SBC 1000 also features built-in Survivable Branch Appliance functionality, so calls go through even if the wide area network goes down.
