SBC 5000 platform is a voice over IP (VoIP) session border controller solution provided by Ribbon Communications (previously Sonus). It delivers security, high availability and interoperability in heterogeneous VoIP environments. The SBC 5000 also features built-in Survivable Branch Appliance functionality, so calls go through even if the wide area network goes down.
The SBC series offers service integration of Unified communications to branch offices. By supporting a variety of protocols, advanced security, and codec transcoding, the SBC series enables a distributed enterprise to implement interoperable Unified communications across the enterprise.
